Listen to this podcast show as I go into using “stat counter”. This is a free service that you can use to find out how many visitors you are getting to your sites. This helps in adjusting your marketing efforts. The old saying “you can’t change what you don’t measure” is very true. Some marketers online throw up a site and just hope people buy their stuff but you have to test and readjust to ensure that more and more people are converted from lookers into buyers and the only way to start that process is by tracking and measuring. I’ve been using a strategy that I don’t believe ANY other marketer out here is using to really monetize Facebook.

Basically I have figured out how to add a pop up onto my Fanpage. My opt in rate has gone from about 3% to over 41% within just two weeks of using this strategy.

exit pop up to catch traffic coming and going.

In addition to using the pop up strategy on my Fanpage, I also
utilize an app on my Facebook profile that allows me to connect
via live streaming video right from my page.

This allows you to engage potential customers/clients or students and
definitely gives them the WOW factor when they see you streaming
live right from your page.

CNN says that more than 100,000 people are reported dead, there are bodies littering the streets, and countless people are trapped in the rubble in urgent need of being rescued.

The situation is dire. The people of Haiti need ourhelp and they need it NOW!

I rarely get people to actually email me and cry SPAM, however my email assistant received an email that she forwarded to me of a guy complaining that I was spamming him because my emails have increased over the last few weeks.

Yes my email marketing has definitely increased as it should have been from inception, but took someone to hit me over the head to understand that as an online marketer making frequent useful valuable offers to your list is how you successfully build a huge online empire.

So here is my response to this “Pseudo Spam” email complaint. Firstly I only choose to subscribe folks to my list thru double opt in methods for this very reason. Secondly as far as the influx in emails recently, well I believe it was Jay Abraham that taught me this….as an expert in my niche it is my fiduciary responsibility to insure that anything of value that will help my students, clients and subscribers that comes across my desk should get to my email list.

Some will love you for this and some will hate you or dislike it. That’s why with every email that goes out there is a link for one to click to unsubscribe.

I don’t believe in holding anyone hostage in my marketing world and don’t even want folks on my list that don’t want to be there. What do you think? Do you think it’s your responsibility to email your list with useful information or offers that will assist them?
